Even Fake Rolex Submariner Prices Are Going Up in Watch Boom

A Rolex watch, like the Rolex Submariner of James Bond 007 fame, is again becoming a mark of high prestige.  After a period where a fine watch seemed to be out of fashion, Rolex and other designer watches are back in style with a vengeance.  Even a reasonable fake Rolex can be something to show off at a social outing.

Not only has it become more prestigious to be wearing a fine Rolex watch, but it’s a sound investment as well.  Designer watches have gone up in value drastically over the last few years.  In the long term, a Rolex Submariner that was worth roughly $400 in 1972 could now be sold for between $40 000 and $50 000 .  Designer watch dealers are seeing both high sales and high profits in recent months.

While fake Rolex watches certainly would not appreciate to the same degree, they are still sound investments.  Especially when you consider that throughout the ebbs and flows of fashion, a good Rolex watch, whether fake or not, always tends to come back into style.  That can’t always be said for all fashions.  A fake Rolex watch will never go the way of the bellbottom trouser, this you can be assured of.  Your fake Rolex will still look sharp on your wrist for years to come and without a ridiculous cost.

You may not be able to shell out for an authentic Rolex Submariner watch circa 1954, but a beautiful fake Rolex will still look good and be a sound investment given the current state of the market.
